Pilates Body: My Favorite Things

Welcome to my favorite things! Here is a list of some of my day in day out, tested products and services that make my life easier through many mindful evolutions. I hope these save you time and make you feel supported inside and out because they live up to my selective business owning, Momming, working out, Diabetic thriving life. 

Organic Milled Flax Seed

This is a great source of fiber, omega 3 +6 and good for you fat your body needs to burn calories. I make this into flax crackers by mixing 2 cups of flax + 1 cup of water, flatten out between 2 sheets of parchment paper and bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes. These are my go-to lunch with hummus, cream cheese, almond butter or yogurt.

Tuna Packets

Lean protein is a great way to build muscle without feeling heavy or spiking your blood sugar. Many of my lunches include 2 of these that pack 26 grams of protein in each pouch. Star Kist Tuna makes a great 2nd best with 17 grams of protein per pouch.

YES Bars

These are SO good. They are vegan, gluten free, chocolatey and taste like a deliciously rich chocolate chip cookie. I love these for breakfast or for a snack on the go. The black sesame seed bar is a surprisingly great runner up. 

Onyx Powermap Coffee

1/2 the caffeine but double the flavor, this is my favorite coffee! You don’t have to worry about giving yourself the zoom zoom’s jittery feeling when you want a cup (or two) with this one. This Magnesium is hard to find locally and when it’s in stock at Sprouts or Nature’s Pantry, I try to buy it all! Maybe everyone else does too! But it’s easy to get on Amazon. I love this particular brand because it includes of the 3 most important types of magnesium for brain health and cognitive function, sleep, relaxation and improved body systems which help curb hunger and cravings. 


This company was a game changer for me when I was sick and tired of taking antibiotics for UTI’s. The packet is easy to dump into your water first thing in the morning and the subscription is great so you never forget to order. The ingredients are safe, natural and transparent.

Acure Eye Brightening Contour Gel

This goop is skin magic. It’s free of fake fragrances, parabens, sulfates, mineral oils and other icky stuff that doesn’t belong on your beautiful face. I use this every single night.

Pilates Instructor

One of the reasons why Pilates is in a league of it’s own in terms of detailed body movements helping you feel taller, lifted and stronger from the inside out is because the program we stand behind, Classical Pilates Education is accredited by the Pilates Method Alliance standards as only one of ten schools in the world that align with a method of safety, rigor and body mechanics through Pilates. Graduates have completed a 600 hour training and are required to complete continuing education to maintain certification. 

Thieves Cleaner Concentrate by Young Living

What is that amazing smell coming from the spray bottles we use to clean the equipment? Here it is in the gallon size which you can use for a long, long time because it gets diluted. Ohhh, it smells so good and cleans perfectly.

S & S Printing

This small print shop in Oak Grove are fantastic at communication and service when it comes to getting shop swag like hoodies, t shirts, hats and tanks. I love supporting small, local businesses doing great things!


Bubble water without the added fake sugar? Yep! Spindrift was a big discovery for us when we wanted something else to drink besides alcohol without a bunch of fake stuff. It’s also fun to add some crushed strawberries or a lemon or lime wedge for extra zing. Our family each has their favorite! You can find these at Price Chopper and Costco, as well as Amazon. Which one is your favorite? 


Tights are my uniform everyday so I’m super picky. Athleta is my absolute favorite for pockets (to have a spot for my insulin pump, keys, hands on a cold day), their high waisted options to hold in all the right spots and their durability (I literally wash, not dry, these for years and they take care of me time and time again).

Salsa Fargo Bike

This is my favorite bike and I’ve tried several. We like to ride on the trails, on the road, in gravel and everything in between so when I found a bike that could handle it all, this is it. This is not just a “sit in the garage” or “maybe I’ll ride down the street” investment, if you’re ready to explore, this is ready too.
